The war involving Iran, United States, and Israel has entered its 13th day, and heavy fighting continues across the region. Neither side appears willing to step back. While Donald Trump continues to warn Iran, Tehran has responded with strong counter-statements. One of the major developments is Iran’s reported drone strike on Salalah Port, where fuel storage tanks caught fire after the attack. Meanwhile, Israel carried out airstrikes in Beirut, reportedly killing seven people and injuring 21. Iran also targeted a government complex in Bahrain, where a fuel tank caught fire following the strike. At the same time, Switzerland announced the temporary closure of its embassy in Tehran due to security concerns. In Iraq, Iran reportedly launched a drone attack near Erbil International Airport. The conflict has already caused heavy casualties in Lebanon, where more than 600 people have reportedly died in ongoing strikes. Reports also suggest that a previous strike on a school in Iran, which killed many children, may have been caused by a Tomahawk cruise missile mistakenly hitting the building. According to UNICEF, the war has had devastating humanitarian consequences. Since the escalation began on 28 February, more than 1,100 children have been killed or injured across the region, including nearly 200 children in Iran, 91 in Lebanon, and several others in Israel and neighboring areas.
