Actor Allu Sirish recently tied the knot with his longtime partner Nayanika Reddy in an intimate ceremony in Hyderabad on March 6. While glimpses from the wedding had already surfaced online, the couple later shared official photos from the celebrations, offering fans a closer look at the special day.Days after beginning this new chapter, Sirish opened up about the wedding and the advice he received from his brother, superstar Allu Arjun.

‘Things will go wrong — don’t stress’

Speaking about his family’s approach to advice, Sirish said both his father and brother usually prefer letting people learn from their own experiences.“My father and brother believe people should experience things themselves. They don’t usually give advice unless asked,” he told Variety India. However, Arjun did offer one piece of guidance ahead of the big day.“The one thing my brother said was that things will go wrong. Something might not go as planned. Clothes may not arrive on time or there may be delays. But don’t stress about it because these are the best moments of your life.”

A ‘slow-burn romance’

Sirish also opened up about how his relationship with Nayanika began, describing it as a gradual love story that unfolded naturally. “I met her at a party held for my cousin Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s wedding in October 2023. We started talking. It was a slow-burn romance. We were hanging out as friends.”He added that although there was an attraction from the start, both of them chose to take things slowly.“There was attraction from day one, but both of us took it slow.”

‘We both had our hesitations’

Sirish admitted that in the beginning both of them had certain concerns about starting a relationship.“My fear was that her sister is friends with Sneha, so if something went wrong, I didn’t want their relationship to become awkward.”Nayanika had her own doubts as well.“She thought, ‘This guy is an actor, maybe he’s not serious.’”According to Sirish, it was her close friend Shalini — who is married to actor Nithiin — who reassured her about him.“Her best friend Shalini gave her reassurance that I was a good guy.”The two eventually made their relationship official in October last year.

‘There was no dramatic moment’

The actor revealed that the couple initially planned to date for a year before considering marriage, but things evolved sooner than expected.“Our original plan was to date for a year and then see if we were compatible for marriage. But within a month or two, we were already talking about the future.”Those conversations even included how they would raise their future children.“We were talking about things like our children speaking Telugu at home.”To keep things private, the couple stayed low-key in the early days of their relationship.“We kept it low profile and avoided going to parties together. But eventually people started noticing and asking questions.”That’s when they decided to introduce their families.“So we decided to make our parents meet and make it official. It all happened very organically. There was no dramatic moment where I decided I would marry her. It just happened naturally.”

A special wedding date

Interestingly, Sirish and Nayanika chose March 6 as their wedding date — the same day that Allu Arjun and Sneha Reddy have celebrated their anniversary for the past 15 years — making the date even more special for the Allu family. Go to Source
