‘Get your head out of Trump’s a**’: ‘Pissed’ Missouri voters heckle Republican Mark Alford

'Get your head out of Trump’s a**': 'Pissed' Missouri voters heckle Republican Mark Alford; questions on Ukraine, medicaid, and taxes

Missouri voters came armed with boos, cheers, and a few choice words on Tuesday at Rep. Mark Alford’s town hall, and they didn’t hold back. Voters demanded that the Missouri Republican denounce President Donald Trump’s “lies” and criticized him for being too close to the US president. One constituent, Fred Higginbotham, summed up the mood perfectly, “You need to take your head out of Trump’s a** and start representing us!” The crowd erupted.

Putin-Zelensky Summit CRUMBLES: Trump Declares Russian Leader ‘Doesn’t Like’ Ukraine Pres. | Watch

Alford, a Republican trying to navigate a tricky August recess, got grilled on everything from Trump’s lies about Ukraine to controversial pardons. When a woman reminded him that Trump blamed Ukrainian President Zelenskyy for Russia’s invasion, Alford tried to dodge, but the audience was having none of it. Scoffs and laughter filled the room. Trump called a ‘dictator’Higginbotham also labeled Trump a “dictator” and slammed his false claims about Ukraine. “I listened to him for about a half-hour today and I got sick at all the lies he brought up,” he said. He urged Alford to study the US Constitution and act independently rather than blindly following Trump.Ukraine and Russia debate gets heatedAlford was questioned about Trump’s repeated false statements blaming Ukraine for Russia’s invasion. One woman asked if Alford had corrected Trump on his claims about Zelenskyy. Alford hesitated, and the audience quickly reminded him that Trump had indeed blamed Ukraine. Laughter and scoffs filled the room as the congressman tried to clarify.Medicare, medicaid, and pardonsVoters also confronted Alford on Trump’s commutations. One man noted that while Alford had criticized abuses in Medicare and Medicaid, Trump had pardoned Philip Esformes, convicted of defrauding the system of $1.3 billion. Applause followed as voters pointed out the contradiction.Immigration and border policiesOn immigration, Alford said Trump had “secured the border” and “fixed the hole in the boat.” The audience responded with boos and scattered applause, showing mixed reactions to his defense.HR1 and tax cutsAlford tried to rebrand Trump’s controversial “Big Beautiful” spending bill as HR1. When he claimed the legislation’s tax cuts would help the working class, the crowd groaned and laughed. Experts say most benefits actually favor high-income households, highlighting the disconnect between Alford’s claims and reality. Go to Source
