War Alert: Iran Claims Massive Strikes on Israel and US Bases Amid Leadership Change

The ongoing Middle East conflict continues to escalate as Mojtaba Khamenei has been officially confirmed as the Supreme Leader of Iran. Analysts say this decision signals Tehran’s commitment to a more hardline and confrontational policy toward its rivals, particularly Israel and the United States. Iran claims it has inflicted heavy damage on its enemies through missile and drone strikes across the region. According to Iranian military sources, cruise and ballistic missiles have hit several targets in Israel, including areas near Tel Aviv, leaving large craters and triggering emergency sirens across multiple cities. Tehran also claims that its forces have destroyed several advanced American radar systems in the Middle East, including installations in Jordan and Qatar, which it describes as key surveillance assets for US operations in the region. In another development, a drone strike reportedly targeted the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, where Iran claims 21 American soldiers were killed. Iranian officials say their forces have carried out attacks on more than 200 military targets belonging to Israel and the US and launched nearly 2,700 rockets at American bases in Gulf countries. The conflict is spreading across the region, with missile strikes reported in Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Iraq. Casualty figures from the first nine days of the war indicate the scale of destruction: around 1,332 deaths in Iran, 41 in Israel, 339 in Lebanon, 13 in Iraq, and several casualties in Gulf states. In addition, seven American soldiers have reportedly been killed during the conflict.
