Iran–Israel War: Oil Depot Blaze, Missile Threats, and Ten Major Developments on Day 9

The conflict between Iran and Israel has entered its ninth day, with several major developments emerging from the battlefield and diplomatic fronts. Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, has declared that the country is standing firmly against attacks and will continue to resist enemy aggression. Reports indicate that Israel has launched a fresh round of strikes inside Iran. Meanwhile, Iran allegedly carried out a missile attack targeting the United States Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain, further widening the scope of the conflict. Israeli strikes were also reported in the southeastern part of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, indicating that the war could spread across multiple fronts. Inside Iran, explosions triggered a massive fire at the Shahran Oil Depot in Tehran, highlighting how energy infrastructure is increasingly becoming a strategic target. At the same time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned that Iran may soon begin using advanced long-range missiles, claiming that the missiles used so far were from older generations. On the Israeli side, the Israel Defense Forces says it has intercepted several Iranian missiles, while air-raid sirens continue to sound across southern Israel. Globally, China and Russia have criticized the war, warning that further escalation could destabilize the region and disrupt global energy markets. Analysts note that attacks on oil infrastructure echo tactics seen during the Gulf War, where energy assets became key strategic targets.
