The conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States continues to escalate as Iran issued a strong warning of “massive destruction” in the Middle East. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that Iran will not bow to US-Israeli pressure and is preparing to respond with more lethal and long-range missile attacks. Military analysts believe Iran may still possess thousands of missiles stored in underground facilities and could prolong the conflict through sustained strikes. Meanwhile, regional tensions increased after Kuwait confirmed that two of its soldiers were killed in an Iranian drone and missile attack. The incident raises fears that more Middle Eastern countries could become directly involved if cross-border attacks continue. At the same time, Israel’s air defense systems successfully intercepted an Iranian ballistic missile aimed toward the West Bank. Systems such as the Iron Dome and Patriot Missile System are being used to track and destroy incoming threats. Amid the ongoing war, reports also indicate delays in announcing a new supreme leader in Iran following concerns over security and potential assassination threats.
