The war between Iran, Israel, and the United States has completed eight days of intense military exchanges. Reports claim that the conflict began escalating around February 28 following the reported death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the killing of more than 150 Iranian students in attacks. Over the following days, both sides launched major operations. The U.S. reportedly used strategic bombers in strikes against Iran, while Iran retaliated with missile and drone attacks targeting American and Israeli positions. By early March, attacks on Iranian naval forces and threats from U.S. President Donald Trump further increased tensions. Defense experts say Iran is relying heavily on decentralized warfare and drone operations. The country has dispersed its forces across multiple provinces and is using large numbers of drones to overwhelm enemy air defense systems. Iran recently released a video showing drone strikes on the Sdot Micha Airbase in Israel. Many of these attacks reportedly involve Shahed-136 suicide drones with a range of around 2,000 km. Analysts say swarm drone attacks are being used to exhaust U.S. and Israeli defense systems.
