Just hours before their wedding reception, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda met the Telugu media for a special interaction. The couple arrived hand-in-hand, marking their first appearance before their home press after tying the knot. Vijay chose a bright yellow kurta for the occasion. Rashmika complemented him in a pastel pink saree paired with a golden full-sleeved blouse.

Pictures and videos from the meet-and-greet quickly made their way onto social media, going viral within minutes.Thanking the media for their continued support, Vijay said, “You have watched me since I was young — through films, interviews and photoshoots. When I was just starting out, these conversations meant everything to me.”He continued, “As an actor chasing my dreams, you’ve been part of that journey. Today, as I step into married life, you are still here and we are growing together. The Telugu states now have a new daughter-in-law. Please take care of her.”The heartfelt statement made Rashmika blush as those present applauded warmly. She added, “This is the first time we are taking such a big step, and we truly seek all your blessings as we begin this new phase of our lives.”

Extended invite to Revanth Reddy, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah

Ahead of the grand reception, Rashmika Mandanna called on Revanth Reddy to personally invite him to the celebrations. She also met his wife Geetha and their daughter, seeking their blessings for her new journey.Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda tied the knot on February 26 in Udaipur in the presence of close friends and family. In the days leading up to the wedding, the couple met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to formally extend their invitation. Rashmika later shared pictures from their meeting with the Prime Minister on X, while Vijay posted glimpses from their interaction with Amit Shah, thanking him for gifting them a Ganesh idol.
