Inside VIROSH’s wedding sweet box

Rashmika Mandanna And Vijay Deverakonda Marry In Udaipur Ceremony After Years Of Dating Rumours

Newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda turned their wedding into a nationwide celebration by sending specially curated sweet boxes to fans across major cities on March 1. Popularly called the “Virosh” box, the package carries a personal touch, a heartfelt note from the couple, along with their wedding picture in traditional attire. The box consisted of sweets, namely, laddoos, creamy mawa pedas, and an assortment of old-fashioned Indian sweets, as this is the concept that the newlyweds have prepared for and is their idea of spreading joy the most traditional way.

A gesture of gratitude

The sweet distribution is part of a larger Thanksgiving plan by the couple, who also arranged annadanam in 16 temples across the country. As per the Free Press Journal, the idea, as they shared in their joint message, was to celebrate their wedding with the people who have supported them throughout their journey. Even at their intimate wedding in Udaipur on February 26, they made sure that the celebrations reached outside the venue by giving sweets to members of the media present near the venue. From a small wedding celebration, it has become a grand eulogy of food, customs, and gratitude.

Rashmika-Vijay’s village arrival and a sacred new beginning

The celebrations continued when the couple travelled to Vijay’s hometown, Thummanpet in Telangana, for their gruhapravesam and the Satyanarayana Vratam. Their arrival was welcomed with folk performances, traditional harati, and the presence of hundreds of villagers who gathered to bless them. The rituals signified the beginning of their married life, with Rashmika and Vijay dressing in beautiful and traditional attire, and the guests were welcomed. But were the fans emotional, as seen in the pictures from the ceremony, merging their status with traditions?

All eyes are on the grand reception now scheduled on March 4

With the sweets reaching 22 cities and temple offerings completed, the next big event is their wedding reception in Hyderabad on March 4. The function, which will bring together guests from multiple film industries and public life, will be held as a strictly invite-only event following security advice due to overwhelming fan excitement. From the intimate vows in Udaipur to the nationwide sweet boxes and the traditional homecoming, every step of Virosh’s wedding journey has reflected a simple idea: celebrating love by including everyone in it.
