Renu hits back at trolls over Pawan 14 years after their divorce

Renu Desai hits back at trolls over Pawan Kalyan 14 years after their divorce: 'I'll make sure the cyber police...'

Actor-activist Renu Desai vows to sue cyberbullies harassing her online since her 2012 divorce from Pawan Kalyan, especially after her street dog press meet. In an Instagram video, she slams abusive trolls, threatens cyber police action, and vows to expose them. “Enough is enough,” she declares.

Renu Desai, known for her work as an actor and activist, is cracking down on cyberbullies with a firm legal threat. She promises to sue those spewing abusive language or invading her private life online, especially as the harassment has ramped up lately.

Renu Desai on divorce harassment

In an Instagram video, Desai spoke about the harassment she says she’s faced since her 2012 divorce from actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. She noted that the criticism intensified after her January press conference on street dog attacks. Captioning the video, she wrote, “Now if I come across any abuses for me I am not going to leave you! I will make sure that the cyber police finds out where you live and get you arrested! Enough is enough now with the senseless abusing.”

Renu Desai reflects on scrutiny

Desai used her Instagram video to look back on the relentless public judgment over the years. “I have heard all kinds of things being said about me, especially since my divorce in 2012. You have covered every aspect of my personal life and commented on how much alimony I’ve supposedly taken or joined a political party. I thought there was nothing left to be said about me.” She explained that joining the January press event reignited the backlash. “When they held a press meet on the street dog issue in January, I initially declined because I knew I would be constantly criticised. And yet, instead of understanding what I’ve said, you’ve turned it into a circus. I was trolled yet again. Tell me you don’t like my acting, my work, that is freedom of speech. But every single time you bring up my personal life.”

She also highlighted the disturbing language aimed at her. “Do you have no conscience? You’re calling me a rabies l***a and hoping dogs bite my private parts. What kind of language is this? I won’t stay calm anymore. I will use my influence and come to your homes, tell your parents what you’ve done. You are frustrated, lazy and depressed.”

Renu Desai and Pawan Kalyan history

The relationship between Desai and Kalyan started in 2001, leading to their wedding in January 2009. They have two children, Akira Nandan and Aadhya, and split in 2012. Before that, Kalyan married Nandini in 1997, separated in 1999, and divorced in 2008. Today, he is married to Russian actress Anna Lezhneva; their two children are Polena Anjana Pawanova and Mark Shankar Pawanovich. Go to Source
