Rashmika Mandanna-Vijay Deverakonda perform Satyanarayana puja

Rashmika Mandanna And Vijay Deverakonda Marry In Udaipur Ceremony After Years Of Dating Rumours

The wedding celebrations of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda took a delightful turn when they visited the groom’s hometown, Thummanpet, Telangana. What could have been a simple family gathering turned out to be a huge affair at the village. Folk songs and dance performances welcomed the couple as people had lined up on either side of the street to have a look at the newly married couple. The new house was decorated with flowers and fairy lights the right way for the traditional gruhapravesam. The videos of the event that reflected cultural roots and customs went viral and stole the limelight on multiple social media platforms.

Sacred rituals to begin a new chapter

The couple performed the Satyanarayana Vratam, a ritual observed by newly married pairs to seek divine blessings for a happy life together. Rashmika appeared elegant in a traditional silk saree paired with gold jewellery, while Vijay chose a soft pastel kurta that matched the calm and spiritual mood of the ceremony. They were welcomed at the entrance with aarti, and a customary drishti ritual was performed before they stepped into the house. Holding hands and smiling throughout, the two greeted elders and villagers with genuine affection, making the entire function feel personal and heartfelt.

Family at the centre of the celebration

The ritual was family-oriented. The mother of Vijay Deverakonda, Madhavi, was supervising the rituals and liaising with the elders at the same time. His brother Anand stood beside the couple, along with Rashmika’s sister Shiman, sharing the special moment. Large tents were arranged for guests, and villagers gathered in huge numbers to bless the newlyweds. Folk dancers performing outside the house added colour and energy, turning the occasion into a beautiful blend of star celebration and homely tradition.

Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda’s grand reception

Rashmika and Vijay had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur on February 26 in the presence of close friends and family. After returning to Hyderabad, they also arranged annadanam and sweet distribution across several cities as a gesture of gratitude to their fans. The next huge occasion is their wedding reception, which is on March 4. Because of the huge level of fan excitement, and as advised by the police, it is going to be invitation only to control the huge throng and ensure that there is no security threat. Despite the limitations, every bit of news about their wedding event has gone viral on social media. Go to Source
