Veteran actor and classical dancer Sudha Chandran has opened up about a deeply personal moment involving superstar Salman Khan, calling him “incredible” and praising his quiet generosity.Speaking in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sudha recounted an incident from a time when she was working on a film with Salman while dealing with a family health crisis.“That man is incredible. I remember I was doing a film with him and at that time my mother was in the hospital. He may not remember this, but I was sitting and having lunch with my staff,” she said.“So Salman’s boy came to me and said, ‘Sir aapse baat karna chahate hain.’ I said yes and went to him. I asked, ‘Yes Salman sir, kuch?’”She continued, “He said, ‘I heard that your mother is down with cancer. Any help you need?’ I was shocked. I asked him, ‘Sir, how did you know that my mother is suffering from cancer?’”According to Sudha, Salman simply replied, “That’s besides the point. You need help or not? If you need help, one call away, I will be there for you.”“That’s Salman bhai and I will never forget this. He may have forgotten this. Maybe unki zindagi mein kitne log aaye, kitne logon ko unhone madad ki hogi, but mere liye it was a respect button for Salman at that,” she added.

“When this hand gives, the other should not know”

Sudha went on to speak about his nature and values.“And today if he is successful, it’s only the blessings of his family — his father, his mother — the family and his well-wishers. He is one human being who has never talked about his good deeds,” she said.“Bolte na, jab yeh haath deta hai toh yeh haath ko nahi pata hona chahiye. He is one person.”She further reflected on his public image, saying, “What he presents and what he is are two different personalities. He has got a heart of gold.” Expressing her surprise, she added, “Unko kya zarurat hi mujhe bula ke puchne ke? The first thing is, how did he know? Mujhe wo samajh mein nahi aaye baat.”“And he didn’t even explain how he found out. He just said, ‘Wo chhod do. Help chahiye ya nahi chahiye? Chahiye toh one phone, I am there for you.’”Sudha emphasised that the moment left a lasting impact on her. While Salman may not even recall the incident, she said the gesture earned her deep respect — not because he is a star, but because he chose compassion without seeking attention. Go to Source
