For her big appearance, the star ditched her large coat to show off her jaw-dropping dress that also seemed to keep up with the nude-dress trend in Hollywood. During her chat with host Jimmy Fallon, Priyanka opened up about ‘The Bluff’ and also surprised fans with an update on her much-anticipated return to Indian cinema.“I haven’t done an Indian movie in six or seven years and this movie is called ‘Varanasi’ and it is directed by SS Rajamouli, who is one of India’s most amazing and talented directors. It’s going to be an adventure and I’m very excited about it. April 27! We shot in IMAX format, so it’s going to be for IMAX theatres, so it’s going to be great,” she said. When Fallon asked whether filming had wrapped, Priyanka laughed and revealed the scale of the production. “Oh my gosh! We’ve been filming for 14 months, we’re still filming for another 6.”A visibly stunned Fallon responded, “So 20 months of filming, Priyanka, you go big man.”

‘Varanasi’ release date

‘Varanasi’ is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious projects in Indian cinema, the film, which is said to be a time-travelling adventure saga, is slated to release on 7 April 2027.
