Breaking News: Gas Leak Sparks Panic in Indore, Madhya Pradesh

A major incident was reported from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, after a suspected toxic gas leak caused panic in the Rajwada Bridge–Rabji Bazaar area. The leak reportedly occurred at a scrap dealer’s shop where a man identified as Shahzad was attempting to cut open a gas cylinder for resale purposes. During the cutting process, a suspicious gas began leaking from the cylinder, spreading into the surrounding area. Residents nearby complained of eye irritation, coughing, and breathing difficulties due to the low-concentration gas exposure. At least three to four people were immediately rushed to the hospital. Officials have confirmed that all affected individuals are currently stable. Fire brigade teams quickly reached the spot and managed to control and stop the gas leak, preventing further escalation. The Industrial Health and Safety Department has been informed and will determine the exact type of gas involved. The scrap dealer has been taken into custody, and a case will be registered against him. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
