Candace Owens is making new claims about Erika Kirk. On Wednesday, Candace Owens released the first episode of her new series titled Bride of Charlie. In the episode, she questioned parts of Erika Kirk’s personal story, especially the claim that she was raised by a single mother. Candace Owens opened the show by reading a viral X post from journalist Elizabeth Lane that criticized Erika Kirk. Then she said she created the series after speaking with Erika’s former classmates and ex-boyfriends.One major claim stood out. Candace Owens said Erika Kirk was not raised only by her mother, Lori Frantzve. She said Erika’s father, Carl Kenneth Frantzve, was present in her early life. Candace Owens also said Lori Frantzve “married four times,” adding, “We are told that Erika Frantzve was raised by a strong, independent, entrepreneurial single mother… but she’s been married four times that I can see.” So far, Erika Kirk has not publicly responded to these claims.

Candace Owens says Erika Kirk’s father and stepfather were present in her childhood

In the episode, Candace Owens pushed back on media reports that described Erika Kirk as someone raised by a single mother. She pointed to a New York Times profile in which Erika Kirk said that raising her children alone “is actually the least traumatizing thing” of her new reality because she was also raised by a single mother.Candace Owens disagreed. She said Erika Kirk’s father, Carl Kenneth Frantzve, “was always in her life.” She even played an old clip of Erika speaking with Charlie Kirk. In that clip, Erika said, “My dad was a stay-at-home dad for a few years, and I got to say, it was really sweet and really special. I was four.”Candace Owens argued that this shows her father was active in her early childhood. She also claimed Erika’s parents separated when Erika was ten but said her father stayed involved during her teenage years. Then Candace Owens brought up another name, Larry Guinta. She said Erika Kirk also lived with her stepfather while growing up. According to Candace Owens, classmates confirmed that Larry Guinta and Lori Frantzve were together since Erika’s elementary school days. She showed what she said were images from Erika’s high school yearbook.Candace Owens said, “So why this little public misrepresentation?” She added that there are “a lot of little wrinkles” in Erika Kirk’s story and promised to share more in future episodes.Since the trailer and first episode were released, Candace Owens has faced strong backlash online. As of now, neither Erika Kirk nor TPUSA has issued a public statement.
