A significant development has emerged in the Saraswati case involving Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, as police from Prayagraj have reportedly reached Varanasi to gather evidence. According to sources, a case has been registered in the Jhunsi area of Prayagraj over allegations of sexual exploitation. Investigators are said to be collecting documents, verifying statements, and examining digital records as part of the preliminary inquiry. Sources further indicate that police may question the seer in connection with the complaint. Officials, however, have not issued a detailed public statement, emphasizing that the matter is under investigation and facts are being carefully examined. Reacting strongly to the accusations, Swami Avimukteshwaranand dismissed the claims as fabricated and politically motivated. He stated that a “false story” has been created to defame him and asserted that God is watching who stands on the side of truth. He also alleged that the controversy is an attempt to harm Sanatan Dharma. Authorities have urged calm as legal proceedings move forward.
