A shocking video has emerged online from Uttarakhand’s Haldwani that captures a tragic accident that left one dead. A video going viral on social media platforms captures moments when a bus crashed into an overspeeding bike, dragging the biker a few metres before he died on the spot.

As seen in the viral CCTV footage, the incident took place on August 23 at nearly 6:45 PM.

As the video opens, a private luxury bus is seen moving steadily when a biker, speeding recklessly, overtakes another rider and tries to squeeze past the bus. But he couldn’t make it. At that very moment, the bus was hit from the front by another fast-moving vehicle.

The violent impact sent shockwaves through both vehicles. The biker, caught between them and clinging to parts of the bus, stood no chance — he died on the spot.

The video was shared on X by a user under the name @SANJAYTRIPATHI with the caption,”When the passion for speed turns deadly… In Haldwani’s Golapar area, a speeding bus collided forcefully with a bike, resulting in the immediate death of the biker. The entire incident was captured on CCTV camera.”

News18 could not independently verify the authenticity of the viral video.

In a separate incident that took place in Uttar Pradesh recently, two bikers lost their lives after their motorcycles collided while performing stunts on the under-construction Delhi–Dehradun Expressway in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

The impact was so severe that both riders were flung off their motorcycles due to the force of the crash. According to reports, both riders lost their lives in the accident.
