The death toll has risen, with multiple people injured and admitted to hospitals. The shocking accident has triggered demands for an inquiry into the circumstances of the crash. In another disturbing incident, 35 people—mostly school children—fell ill after eating momos at a fair in Masuri Gram Panchayat, Banda district.
