Breaking News: Massive Landslide In Uttarkashi Triggers Building Collapse And Highway Blockage

A major landslide in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, has caused severe destruction, raising serious safety concerns for residents and travelers. Due to heavy rainfall, a multi-storied building in the Panjadi area has suffered extensive damage after its wall collapsed along with surrounding debris. Shocking visuals from the site reveal how the wall and the lower section of the structure gave way, exposing dangerous cracks and creating panic in the area. The collapse has left a hollow space beneath the slab on which the building stands, raising fears of a complete structural failure. Authorities are monitoring the site closely as continuous landslides are making the situation worse. Alongside the collapse, highways in the region have also been heavily affected. With constant debris flow, traffic has been brought to a standstill, leaving several routes blocked.Local residents have described scenes of chaos as mud and rocks continue to fall from the hills. Officials warn that restoration work will take time due to ongoing rainfall and unstable ground. Relief and rescue teams are on alert to ensure no casualties occur. This incident highlights the growing vulnerability of mountain regions to extreme weather and landslides.
