Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Bharat Mandapam to inaugurate the AI Impact Summit 2026, receiving a warm welcome and applause from distinguished global leaders and delegates. The summit opened with a formal address welcoming heads of state, policymakers, innovators, and business leaders from across the world. Special acknowledgment was given to French President Emmanuel Macron, who joined the Prime Minister at the event, and Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The summit highlighted India’s vision of responsible and inclusive artificial intelligence under PM Modi’s leadership. A short film showcased India’s civilizational journey—from the invention of zero (shunya) and Nalanda’s knowledge tradition to digital public infrastructure and AI-driven governance. It emphasized AI’s role in healthcare through Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, agriculture, education, and judicial systems, promoting technology as a tool to enhance human capability rather than replace it. Positioning AI as a force for global good, India reiterated its commitment to democratic, inclusive, and accountable innovation, guided by the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family—aiming to ensure progress, prosperity, and peace for all nations.
