Is ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’ Shahid’s favourite dance track?

Shahid Kapoor's video dancing at weddings will prove 'Mauja Hi Mauja' from 'Jab We Met' is his go-to song - WATCH

Shahid Kapoor has fans hooked to his upbeat dance performance in his latest track ‘Paan Ki Dukaan’ from the film ‘O’ Romeo’. While the film has audiences getting groovy in cinemas, a clip going viral online seems to drop hints about the actor’s go-to tack. Before his film could hit theatres, Shahid was spotted rocking the stage at an industrialist’s son’s wedding. He was among a list of celebs who took over the big stage to entertain the many guests by belting out their hit Bollywood dance numbers. Interestingly, for Shahid’s dance performance, the actor picked an upbeat medley of songs, including his chartbuster ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’ from ‘Jab We Met’. A video of the actor lighting up the stage with a remixed version of the song has gone viral. For the performance, the actor rocked an all-black ensemble, featuring a sleeveless shirt with an undone bowtie and trousers. However, it wasn’t his outfit, but song choice that led many to believe that the track from his 2007 film, is still his ultimate go-to track, nearly two decades on.

Shahid Kapoor Goes Full Cheerleader For Brother Ishaan’s Homebound Triumph

In the now-viral clip, Shahid is seen effortlessly matching steps to the energetic number, recreating his iconic moves that became a rage when his film with Kareena Kapoor Khan released in 2007. Last December, the actor was also seen putting up a dance performance to the same track. On the work front, Shahid is currently riding high on the success of his romantic film ‘O’ Romeo’, which hit theatres on Friday. The film raked in over Rs 20 crore in just two days of its release. As per box office reports, the film made a splash with a collection of Rs 8 crore on Day one and earned an estimated Rs 12 crore on Day 2. The film that shared the box office business with ‘Tu Yaa Main’, and ‘Border 2’, emerged on the number one spot at the box office this Valentine’s weekend.
