Salman Khan says he still lives in a 1 BHK apartment, fans react

Salman Khan says he still lives in a 1 BHK apartment at an event in Dubai, fans call him 'grounded'

Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars in the country but he recently left many people pleasantly surprised at a recent celebrity gala in Dubai when he opened up about his modest living arrangements. Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat is one of the most iconic spots in Mumbai and so is Amitabh Bachchan’s house. One remembers how Rajesh Khanna’s bungalow ‘Aashirwad’ was so popular. Amidst that, Salman has preferred to stay in his apartment with his whole family. Taking the stage during an on-ground interaction, the superstar revealed, “I still live in a 1 BHK apartment and that is ok for me.” The candid admission was met with loud applause, with many praising his simplicity and grounded attitude after decades of box office dominance.Sporting a grey blazer over a maroon T-shirt and jeans, Salman looked at ease as the discussion shifted to fame, fortune and the expectations that come with stardom. Reflecting on the pressures of maintaining a larger-than-life image, he calmly shared that for him, familiarity and comfort outweigh extravagance. In another exchange covered by a Dubai-based publication, he reiterated his outlook, saying, “I have everything I need. A bigger house does not change who you are or how you sleep at night.” The remark reinforced his belief that personal contentment holds more value than material display.Clips from the evening quickly went viral, with fans describing the actor as “grounded” and “real.” Throughout the event, Salman warmly greeted guests, posed for photographs and recounted moments from his long career. Yet it was his simple statement about continuing to live in a one-bedroom apartment that became the defining highlight of the night. On work front, Salman will be seen next in ‘The Battle Of Galwan’, which is based on the violent clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh on June 15, 2020. The film sees him along with Chitrangada Singh.
