On February 11, 2026, the popular anime YouTuber wrote on X, “I wanna die.” The post spread fast and many followers replied to his tweet with worry. Some asked if he was safe, while others sent love. Streamer Tectone also responded and told him, “Chibi, you are the man. Keep fighting. I appreciate you, bro.” About 12 hours later, Jacob Seibers shared another update. He said he had a mental break and went to the hospital. He wrote, “Deleted the post with my hospital armband. To clarify I am fine and was discharged this morning from the hospital. I had a mental break and I did almost die last night but I was saved at the last moment. Honestly don’t want to elaborate too much further on it if I can help it.” Soon after, he explained that he had just lost his fiancée, his best friend, and his whole friend group in one day. Then on February 12, 2026, he uploaded a 16-minute YouTube video titled “i lost everything” to explain what happened.

In the video, Jacob Chibi Reviews Seibers said he wanted to clear his head and speak honestly. He shared that on February 11 he found out his fiancée was cheating on him with his best friend of 10 years. “On the 11th of February, I discovered my fiancé cheating on me with my best friend of 10 years,” he said at the 1:40 mark.He looked heartbroken as he talked about it. “I confronted her about this, and she apologized… I being with her already for multiple years, and then finding out my best friend… So much betrayal…”After learning the truth, he said he drank alcohol and drove to a lake. He described sitting there and feeling very close to losing his life. Then something changed.“Suddenly, a police officer shows up. Don’t know how I was found, but he showed up, and he saved me at the last moment. He did,” he said at 3:45.Police took him to the hospital for a checkup. Later in the video, he spoke about losing his close friends, including the friend he once called a brother.“I lost my whole friend group, my best friend that I basically called a brother,” he said at 8:23.In the video description, he thanked people who helped him. He wrote, “To all those that reached out, to NicholasLight and Tectone calling me to save my life to get the police to escort me to the hospital. I thank you all and making this video for myself to process my thoughts and trying to move forward in life.”Jacob Chibi Reviews Seibers told viewers he is now safe.
