Dhanush to Sreeleela:’D55′ cast and crew salary details

'D55' cast and crew salary: Dhanush, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela’s fees revealed; Mammootty takes a major stand

Dhanush’s upcoming film D55 is making waves with staggering salaries for its cast and crew. Dhanush himself is reportedly earning Rs 45 crore, while Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela are set to receive Rs 12 crore and Rs 3 crore respectively. Director Rajkumar Periyasamy is said to be paid Rs 15 crore.

The new Dhanush film D55 has already become the subject of widespread speculation and controversy in the Kollywood film industry — not only because of its high-profile star cast, but also due to the astronomical salaries being discussed. The film is being produced by Dhanush and directed by Amaran filmmaker Rajkumar Periyasamy. The star-studded lineup reportedly includes Dhanush, Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela.

Dhanush’s Rs 45 crore salary leads the list

According to Filmibeat, Dhanush has reportedly quoted Rs 45 crore for acting in the film, which he is also producing. This figure has created a sensation, given his popularity and strong market pull.Sai Pallavi is said to be charging Rs 12 crore, making her the highest-paid among the female leads. Meanwhile, Sreeleela has reportedly quoted Rs 3 crore as her remuneration, even though industry buzz suggests that her role may be relatively brief compared to the other actresses. These figures have sparked widespread debate on social media and within film trade circles, as fans closely follow every development related to the film’s budget and payments.

Director and music composer fees

Reports suggest that director Rajkumar Periyasamy has been signed for Rs 15 crore. Industry sources claim he received Rs 6 crore for Amaran, along with an additional Rs 4 crore after the film’s success, which significantly boosted his market value. As a result, his fee for D55 has reportedly seen a substantial jump.Music composer Sai Abhyankkar is said to be charging Rs 3 crore. All of this indicates that D55 is mounted on a massive budget, with a significant portion allocated to star salaries and top-tier technicians.

Mammootty’s stand on his salary

The most interesting development, however, revolves around Mammootty’s remuneration. Reports suggest that Dhanush was willing to pay him as much as Rs 35 crore. However, Mammootty reportedly declined to accept such a hefty amount, as he was uncomfortable taking such a large fee.The producers were keen to compensate him respectfully, and after discussions, his final remuneration is said to have been fixed at Rs 24 crore.Mammootty has reportedly earned praise for this decision, while the scale of the film continues to draw attention through these reported figures. Even before shooting begins, ‘D55’ is already being described as one of the biggest and most expensive Tamil films in the making. Go to Source
