Rajpal Yadav, the beloved actor who has carved a niche in Bollywood with his comic flair and immense passion for his craft, is currently entangled in a legal battle over a cheque bounce case that dates back a decade. In a surprising turn of events, he has turned himself in at Tihar Jail.

Rajpal Yadav once joked about how long he plans to stay in the movies. The actor said that in the early 2000s, he signed 16 films in a single month. Years later, he still feels hungry for work. In fact, he teased a co-star that he hopes to share screen space not just with him but with the next generation as well.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama while promoting ‘Coolie No. 1′ in 2020, Rajpal remembered how fast life changed after ‘Jungle.’ He said he suddenly found himself flooded with offers and grabbed them with both hands.

He also shared a moment from ‘Chor Machaaye Shor.’ Director David Dhawan offered him a tiny appearance and expected hesitation. Rajpal did not think twice. The reason was simple. The scene featured Amitabh Bachchan. Rajpal said he would have agreed even if it had been just a line.In one instance, Rajpal shared a light moment with Varun Dhawan. Varun once admitted he forgets that Rajpal is a senior in the industry. As reported by India Today, Actor Rajpal Yadav, who recently surrendered at Tihar Jail in a decade-old cheque-bounce case, is now receiving visible support from the film industry. After Sonu Sood and Gurmeet Chaudhary made public appeals asking for help, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) also stepped in and urged the industry to back the actor. FWICE’s message adds fresh weight to the calls already circulating online. The group asked members of the film fraternity to stand with Rajpal as he deals with the legal matter.Sonu and Gurmeet were among the first to speak up. Their posts brought new attention to the case and sparked wider discussion on social media. Soon after, FWICE echoed the sentiment and pushed for collective support.Rajpal has worked across genres for years and remains a familiar face in Hindi cinema.
