The Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh is set to present its 10th budget today, which will also be the final full budget of his second term, as the state Assembly elections are scheduled for 2027. The budget is expected to exceed ₹9 lakh crore, making it significantly larger than the previous one and a crucial step toward strengthening the state’s economy. State Finance Minister Suresh Khanna will present the budget at 11:00 AM. The government has described it as a “budget of hope and development”, aimed at reinforcing public trust in the administration. According to the Finance Minister, the budget will align with public aspirations and focus heavily on capital investment, which is expected to generate employment opportunities. Special emphasis will be placed on technology-driven growth and digitization, along with skill development initiatives to boost job creation. The government has stated that the budget will address the needs of women, youth, farmers, students, marginalized communities, and laborers, ensuring inclusive development across all sections of society. Officials believe this budget will play a significant role in shaping Uttar Pradesh’s economic roadmap ahead of the 2027 elections.
