TenZ and Kyedae have officially gone their separate ways, ending a relationship that lasted nearly six years. The news surprised many Valorant fans, especially because the two had been engaged and often shared their lives online. Kyedae announced her breakup through a public statement, which showed that the couple ended their relationship through a process of careful evaluationing instead of making an impulsive decision based on anger. The couple met as teenagers and developed their relationship into adulthood while establishing their professional paths in unison. The couple developed a relationship which they eventually realized was essential for their relationship. They were no longer growing as individuals. That realization, Kyedae said, led them to choose space and personal growth over staying together just because of history. There was no cheating, no fight, and no dramatic moment. According to her, they simply grew apart. The announcement came directly from Kyedae, who also asked fans to respect their privacy during this personal time.

She wrote:“Toward the end of our relationship, we came to a realization that wasn’t easy to accept we had stopped growing as individuals. For most of our relationship, we did everything together. Work – together. Hobbies and interests – together. Pretty much everything — together. We’ve even joked in the past that although we were together for six years, it felt like at least thirty.”She continued:“We moved in together just weeks after meeting, and from ages 17 to 24, that was all we knew. Over time, it became clear that we needed space to grow into our own people separately. We know the internet often looks for ‘the tea’ but the truth is simple, we grew apart. There was no wrongdoing, no resentment, and no single event that caused this.”Kyedae also said that they still care deeply about each other and are thankful for the life they shared. She ended her message by asking fans to give them privacy.
