In the Ghaziabad triple suicide case, investigations have revealed that three teenage sisters were deeply influenced by Korean culture. Police and family members say the girls were heavily addicted to Korean dramas, music, and online content, had adopted Korean names, and even rejected their Indian identity. Their mobile phones and social media played a major role in their daily lives. Ten days before the incident, their father deleted their social media accounts and restricted phone usage, which reportedly caused emotional distress. On the day of the incident, an argument over mobile phones and their insistence on going to Korea escalated tensions. Later that night, all three sisters allegedly jumped to their deaths. Authorities are examining mobile addiction, psychological stress, lack of schooling, and excessive exposure to online content as possible contributing factors. The investigation is ongoing to determine the exact sequence of events and underlying causes.
