NEW DELHI: The Ballia police have filed a case against Munna Bahadur Singh, who claimed to be a member of the BJP, for engaging in a physical altercation, using abusive language, and obstructing official work in the office of the AC (Assistant Commissioner) of the Electricity Department. Ballia ASP Kripa Shankar said, “This afternoon, in the office of the AC (Assistant Commissioner) of the Electricity Department in Ballia district, Munna Bahadur Singh from Sagarpali and his associates engaged in a physical altercation, used abusive language, and obstructed official work. Based on the complaint received, a case has been registered under the relevant sections.” The police further added that the legal proceedings have been initiated, and teams have been deployed to arrest the accused. Police forces are present at the scene.A viral video from Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia shows BJP worker Munna Singh assaulting an engineer inside the electricity department office. The footage captures Singh shouting at officials before charging at the engineer. Though briefly restrained, he returned moments later with a shoe and repeatedly struck the engineer, the video revealed.
