Billionaires around the world always have a different story of wealth as business scenarios change with time. There are more than 2600 billionaires globally, out of which over a third of billionaires live in the United States, followed by China ranking at number two globally. The number of billionaires has reportedly accelerated and declined from the 2020 pandemic downfall, regaining in 2021, with again facing a downfall in 2023 and stabilising its numbers in 2024. The number of billionaires by country defines how the economy is building to accelerate in the world. With decelerating and regaining the numbers in 2024, according to World Population Review, United States has able to maintain its ranking with the largest number of billionaires around the list of countries with maximum number.
