‘Dhurandhar 2’ has a new streaming partner

The makers of ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ dropped the first poster of the film ahead of the teaser release today. One can notice JioHotstar is mentioned on it, which means that the platform is the film’s official streaming partner. The first film was released on Netflix.

According to the India Today report, the initial streaming platform had secured the rights for the first installment; however, the new digital partner has bagged the rights for the second one. A source told the publication, “‘Dhurandhar 2’ is highly awaited by fans and has already been declared a blockbuster by traders. Given the buzz and interest around the film, it’s obvious that all platforms would’ve wanted it in their library. JioHotstar clearly beat Netflix to it this time.”The same report stated that considering the eight-week window after the film’s release in theaters, the movie might be available for streaming from May 14, 2026.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ has a new music partner

And not just that, according to the report, Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has cracked the deal for the music rights of ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’. The first installment partnered with Saregama, as the makers have used several old tracks in the movie.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead. It also features Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and R. Madhavan. Akshaye Khanna’s Rehman Dakait will be back in part 2 through flashback sequences. ‘Dhurandhar’, which was released on December 5, 2025, went on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film (released in a single language). Now, ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ is set to hit theaters on March 19, 2026.
