Big News: Four Terror Suspects Arrested in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur, Explosives Seized

n a major security breakthrough, Punjab Police have arrested four terror suspects from Hoshiarpur district, foiling a potential attack. According to initial information, the accused were allegedly acting on the directions of the banned terror outfit Babbar Khalsa. During the operation, security agencies recovered approximately 2.5 kilograms of improvised explosive device (IED) material along with two pistols from their possession. The arrests were made following intelligence inputs, prompting swift action by police teams. Officials believe the suspects were planning a serious conspiracy aimed at disturbing peace and security in the region. After the arrests, bomb disposal and forensic teams were also involved to examine the seized materials. Security has been heightened in nearby areas as a precautionary measure. Investigating agencies are now questioning the accused to identify their network, handlers, and possible links to other terror modules. The arrests are being seen as a significant success for Punjab Police in preventing a major terror incident and ensuring public safety.
