Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are one of Bollywood’s most talked-about pairs. Friends, then not so close, and then friends again. Whenever their names come together, it always becomes big news. This time, they did not even post anything, but still won the viral 2016 trend.Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar brought them into the trend by sharing a throwback picture from 2016. The picture shows Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan hugging each other warmly. Ali shared the photo on social media and simply wrote, “2016 . SULTAN & RAEES”. The photo was taken before the release of Sultan and around the time Raees was being discussed.

As expected, the comments section was full of excitement. One fan wrote, “Srk bicepes over shadows Bhaijaan.” Another commented, “SRK’s bicep and forearm King Khan mogged so called body building icon.”Many fans were not just praising the picture but also asking for a new film with both stars together. One comment said, “We want you back for another heartfelt film with Salman Khan.” Another fan asked directly, “Tiger Vs Pathaan…??.”Some fans felt something big might be coming. One wrote, “Is there any planning going on?.” Another added, “Please make a comeback with them.” One curious fan even asked, “Sir, are you remaking Heated Rivalry?.”

What made this moment special is that neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Salman Khan officially joined the 2016 trend. They did not post any throwback photos or captions themselves.On the work front, The ‘Kick’ actor is gearing up for his next film. He will be seen in Apoorva Lakhia’s ‘Battle Of Galwan’ which is set to release on April 17. Fans are already excited to see him in a powerful role again.Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film ‘King’.
