Did Renee Good’s wife ‘impede’ ICE agents before Minneapolis shooting? New details emerge as Becca Good is investigated

Becca Good, the partner and ‘wife’ of Renee Nicole Good, the woman fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minnesota, may have become the next subject of investigation and interrogation as federal authorities are looking more into the unfortunate case.Renee Good was killed earlier this month when Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer Jonathan Ross fired into her vehicle during an immigration operation in Minneapolis.Federal officials are now examining whether Becca Good may have hindered a federal officer moments before the shooting, according to NBC News. The inquiry is looking into Becca Good’s actions and background, including possible links to activist groups, according to officials.Renee Good was an American citizen and a mother of three. Video footage from the scene shows Ross confronting Good near her car. Ross is seen approaching the front of the SUV. Renee Good is heard saying, “That’s fine, dude, I’m not mad at you.” Another officer orders her to get out of the car.As Ross turns towards the front of the vehicle, Becca Good, present near the scene, appears to say, “Drive.” Renee Good turns the steering wheel to her right, away from the officer, and begins to move. In Ross’s body footage, he can be heard shouting before firing multiple shots at point-blank range. Another ICE agent later says, “f—–g b**ch.”Becca Good’s lawyer denied that she is a target of the investigation. “There has been no contact from the FBI or federal officials indicating Becca Good is the subject of an investigation,” he said in a statement on Saturday.Federal officials said the probe into Becca Good is focused on a US law covering “assaulting, resisting, or impeding federal officers”.US President Donald Trump described Renee and Becca Good as “professional agitators.” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said a day after the shooting that Renee Good’s actions amounted to “domestic terrorism”.Six federal prosecutors in Minneapolis have resigned amid concerns over how the case is being handled, calling it biased.A clarification later confirmed that Becca and Renee were not legally married, but Becca Good had previously referred to Renee as her partner and wife.
