Panic erupted after a bomb threat was reported on the Patna–New Delhi 12309 Tejas Rajdhani Express, prompting heightened security measures. The train was immediately halted at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya (DDU) Junction following information received by the railway control room from an unidentified caller about a suspicious object onboard. As a precaution, all passengers were safely deboarded, and intensive checking operations were launched. Bomb squad, dog squad, bomb disposal unit, along with RPF, GRP, and civil police teams from multiple police stations, are conducting a thorough search of the train. Officials confirmed that checking of several coaches has already been completed, while the remaining coaches are still being examined. Authorities stated that the train will not be allowed to depart until it is fully declared safe. The situation remains under close monitoring as security agencies continue their investigation.
