Sunita says Govinda hasn’t supported son Yashvardan’s career

Sunita Ahuja says Govinda hasn’t supported son Yashvardan’s career: ‘I told my son not to copy Govinda; he is like Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan’

Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja has once again dropped strong hints about trouble in her marriage, suggesting that the actor was allegedly involved with a newcomer and is even being blackmailed. In a recent interaction, Sunita also accused Govinda of not supporting their son Yashvardan Ahuja’s career and revealed that she has advised her son not to follow in his father’s footsteps.Speaking to Miss Malini, Sunita said, “Yash is a self-made boy. He hasn’t taken help from his father. He has given 90 auditions, being Govinda’s son. He didn’t ask Govinda to call anyone. Govinda also never helped Yash. I told Govinda on his face, ‘tu baap hai ki kya hai if you won’t help our kids, who will?’ See Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, how they all are supporting their sons. I told Govinda that he has to support his son, but I don’t understand his thinking. The company that he keeps is so bad, I don’t know what they teach him. His own career is ruined.”

‘I told my son not to copy Govinda’

Sunita further said that she has consciously advised Yashvardan not to emulate Govinda, instead urging him to draw inspiration from legendary actors she grew up watching on screen.“I had told my son not to copy Govinda. I tell him that when I gave birth to you, at that time I had watched Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan on screen. He is like them only,” she added.

Sunita hints at the woman linked to Govinda

During the same interview, Sunita appeared to hint at the identity of the woman Govinda is allegedly linked with. Without naming her directly, she made a cryptic remark about a woman named Komal, jokingly calling the name “problematic” and expressing her dislike for it, while laughing through the moment.

‘Better than Saiyaara’: Sunita Ahuja on son Yashvardhan’s big Bollywood debut

Sunita also spoke at length about what she claimed is a common pattern in the film industry, alleging that some young women who come to Mumbai with acting ambitions often seek out senior stars for financial support and later resort to blackmail. She suggested that such situations have become increasingly common and implied that Govinda may have fallen into one such trap.

‘You can’t do this at 63’

Taking a firm stand, Sunita stressed that at Govinda’s age and stage in life, such controversies were unacceptable. She pointed out that he has a family to think about, including their daughter Tina’s marriage and Yashvardan’s career, which is just taking shape. According to her, mistakes made in youth are understandable, but repeating them later in life shows a lack of responsibility and focus. Go to Source
