The popular Punjabi actor-comedian, Jaswinder Bhalla, who was loved for his iconic performances in Pollywood, breathed his last at the age of 65 in the early hours of Friday, August 22, at Fortis Hospital, Mohali. The news of his demise has shattered millions of hearts, and tributes are pouring in. Punjabi stars like Gippy Grewal, Neeru Bajwa, Happy Raikoti, Binnu Dhillon, and others have taken to their social media handles to pen heartwarming tributes for the late artist.

Shocked and disheartened by the news, Gippy expressed his disbelief and wrote – “I’m in shock. He was like a father, mentor, and the talented actor to us in the whole industry, creating memories and enjoying moments like family. Our bond was very strong. This is the worst news. May he rest in peace. All my strength to the family. His legacy will live on through his work, and his impact on our lives will never be forgotten. I’ll cherish the memories we shared and the lessons he taught me. You will always be in my heart @jaswinderbhalla Bhaji 🙏🏻” Neeru Bajwa penned, “Deeply saddened to have woken up to the tragic news,” and then added, “Bhalla Saab was truly respected and admired, and his contributions will be remembered with great honor. Jaswinder Bhalla’s cause of death

Jaswinder Bhalla suffered a brain stroke on Wednesday evening, and thereafter, he was admitted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali, according to a BBC Punjabi report. The actor’s friend confirmed the news of his demise.The beloved star Jaswinder Bhalla’s last rites will be held on August 23 at noon at the Balongi cremation ground, Mohali.
