But I haven’t seen much chatter about her online. I don’t blame people. She delivers such a lived in performance that nobody will walk out saying she was great. She was that great.”Ravindran recently earned critical appreciation for his directorial ‘The Girlfriend’, and his endorsement has been widely reported by entertainment portals. Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan from a screenplay by Bahul Ramesh, ‘Eko’ follows a tense search for an enigmatic figure named Kuriachan, played by Saurabh Sachdeva. The film weaves in a range of characters, from Narain’s Navy officer to a restless young man played by Sandeep Pradeep. As the search unfolds in a hill station, the past of Kuriachan becomes increasingly intriguing.After a strong theatrical run, ‘Eko’ has now released on Netflix. Reports from the film’s producers state that the movie grossed over 50 crore worldwide. It is also listed among the ten highest-grossing Malayalam films of 2025. Recently, the makers shared their gratitude to Dhanush for his support. Posting their response on Instagram, they wrote, “Thank you, Dhanush — it truly means a lot to us.”
