‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ is finally returning with its season 4, and its first official trailer has been released. The new season is based on the sixth book in Michael Connelly’s ‘Mickey Haller’ series, ‘The Law of Innocence’. The earlier seasons were highly appreciated by the audience, and the same is expected from the upcoming instalment as well.

The trailer picks up in the aftermath of the discovery of a dead body in the trunk of Mickey Haller’s car. It’s a former client, a conman called Sam Scales, and Mickey’s charged with his murder. Of course, he hasn’t done it, but whoever’s framed him has done a pretty good job, as he soon finds out that it gets increasingly difficult for him to prove his innocence.The longline of the fourth season reads, “On trial for a murder he didn’t commit, Mickey must face a relentless DA as he fights to prove his innocence, expose the real killer and save his firm.”
Release date and episode count
The legal drama will be returning with 10 episodes in the fourth season on February 5, 2026. Season 4 will pick up directly after the Season 3 finale, dealing with Mickey being framed for the murder of Sam Scales.
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo returns along with the main cast
In Season 4, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo returns as series lead, Mickey Haller, a Los Angeles-based criminal-defense lawyer who often works out of a chauffeur-driven Lincoln Navigator. Other stars include Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Yaya DaCosta.Neve Campbell will also be making her long-awaited full-time return to The Lincoln Lawyer. While she was a series regular in Season 1, Campbell only recurred in the last two seasons as Mickey’s ex-wife and criminal prosecutor, Maggie McPherson. However, for Season 4, she will appear in all 10 episodes.
New cast members join in
New additions to the cast for Season 4 include Constance Zimmer as Dana Berg, a new adversary for Mickey Haller, as well as Jason O’Mara, Emmanuelle Chiriquí, and Javon Johnson. The latter three will be portraying Jack Gilroy, Jeanine Ferrigno, and Carter Gates, respectively. Additionally, Cobie Smulders has been cast in an undisclosed role.
Most “emotional” season yet?
In a new interview with Tudum, ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez hyped the upcoming fourth season by calling it “without hesitation… our most personal and emotional season yet. It presents the biggest stakes and the biggest challenge for Mickey and his team because now Mickey’s the client.”
