Dhurandhar sees good growth; competes with The Raja Saab

'Dhurandhar' box office collection Day 41: Ranveer Singh-Akshaye Khanna starrer gives tough competition to 'The Raja Saab'

‘Dhurandhar’, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna in the lead, may be nearing the end of its sixth week at the box office, but that has not stopped it from drawing in the audiences in large numbers. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has broken all major records at the box office, since its December 5 release. Now, as it comepleted Day 41 at the box office, it appears that the film is now giving the Prabhas starrer ‘The Raja Saab’ a run for its money.

‘Dhurandhar’ box office collection

After showing some signs of slowing down at the ticket windows, ‘Dhurandhar’ saw good growth on Wednesday. As per early estimates on sacnilk.com, the film that saw collections in the Rs 2 crore range since Monday, once again hit the Rs 3 crore mark, in line with its sixth Friday haul. The film that had previously been raking in double-digit numbers for weeks, earned just around Rs 3.5 crore on its sixth Friday. The film witnessed good box office growth on Saturday and Sunday, earning Rs 5.75 crore and Rs 6.15 crore, respectively. However, on Monday, its numbers fell to Rs 2.35 crore and Rs 2.6 crore on Tuesday. With this, the film’s week 6 total has hit an estimated Rs 23.35 crore at the box office.

With its impressive run, the film’s net total as per sacnilk, is now estimated at Rs 813 crore nett. Meanwhile, the all India gross total collections on the other hand, is estimated at Rs 976.1 crore. The film also boasts of an impressive overseas haul of Rs 293 crore, setting the film up for a total collection now estimated Rs 1269.1 crore.
