Trevor Noah will return to the Grammy stage for one last memorable night. The Recording Academy announced on January 13, 2026, that the comedian will host the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on February 1 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This marks his sixth time leading the ceremony and his announced finale in the role, also serving as executive producer.Noah first stepped up in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, replacing Alicia Keys with charm that steadied a virtual show. Audiences embraced his sharp wit, musical passion, and seamless artist interactions. Over five years, he elevated the broadcast through intimate moments and viral highlights, earning consistent praise.

Executive producers high praise

Ben Winston of Fulwell 73, the show’s executive producer, gushed about Noah’s impact. “I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time,” Winston said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. He called Noah “the most phenomenal host,” highlighting his smarts, humor, and genuine fandom. “His impact on the show has been truly spectacular,” Winston added, eager for their last collaboration. Noah’s Grammy tenure redefined award show hosting. His global perspective connected diverse audiences while celebrating music’s universal language. Kendrick Lamar leads 2026 nominees with nine nods, followed by Lady Gaga and producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut at seven each. Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas, and engineer Serban Ghenea score six apiece. Clipse, Doechii, SZA, Turnstile, Tyler, the Creator, and producers Souwave and Andrew Watt grab five.
