All about ‘Eternity’ OTT release

‘Eternity’ on OTT: The afterlife rom-com starring Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, and Callum Turner finally gets a streaming date

‘Eternity’, the new afterlife romantic comedy starring Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner, finally has a streaming release date. Fans can soon catch this imaginative love story at home. The movie blends humor, emotion, and a bit of fantasy, all circling around one big question: After you die, who do you really want to spend forever with?

‘Eternity’: All about the afterlife romantic comedy

So, what’s ‘Eternity’ about? With David Freyne as the director, the story of the film centers on Joan (Elizabeth Olsen), as she shows up in the afterlife and learns she’s got exactly one week to figure out where — and with whom — she’ll spend eternity. On one hand, Larry (Miles Teller), her husband of many years, is waiting. But on the other hand, so is her first love, Luke (Callum Turner), who’s been stuck in limbo for decades, hoping she’d show up. It’s a bittersweet love triangle, sure, but the film digs into memory, regret, and how the choices we make shape our lives. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill rom-com.In the trailer of the movie, Joan arrives at this weird, dreamy “Junction” in the afterlife. Larry’s there, but suddenly, so is Luke, her first love, who’s been waiting all this time. The look of the film is ethereal, but the emotions feel real — plenty of laughs, but also some relatable romantic rivalry, and tough questions about love and commitment.

The cast and crew, and challenges conquered

The cast of ‘Eternity’ is stacked: Elizabeth Olsen plays Joan, holding everything together with her usual depth, while Miles Teller plays Larry, the steady, devoted husband. And then Callum Turner steps in as Luke, the lost first love. John Early, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Olga Merediz round out the supporting cast, bringing both heart and humor to this surreal afterlife.‘Eternity’s journey started way before cameras rolled. Back in 2022, the script landed on ‘The Black List’, Hollywood’s annual collection of the best unproduced screenplays. In March 2024, David Freyne signed to direct ‘Eternity’.The film made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2025 and won the hearts of both critics and viewers. It played at the Chicago and Stockholm film festivals too, drawing more attention before its big theatrical release on November 26, 2025, in the US.

How to watch ‘Eternity’ on OTT

Now for the big news: ‘Eternity’ starts streaming on Apple TV on February 13, 2026 — just in time for Valentine’s Day. Perfect timing if you want something a little different for date night. ‘Eternity’ is a film that tells about love, regret, and choice through a dream-like afterlife, and yet keeps a sense of familiarity, romance, and comedy.
