Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna’s spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar’ continued its remarkable theatrical run, well into Day 40. The film that has been on a record-breaking spree, did it again when it added its name to the record books again, this time, with the highest week 6 collections. Despite bring in its sixth week in theatres, ‘Dhurandhar’ directed by Aditya Dhar has been raking in good box office numbers. Although the film has been showing signs of slowing down at the box office, it’s sustained momentum has helped it become the highest earning Hindi film and helped it further its record.

‘Dhurandhar’ box office collection Day 40

As per reports on sacnilk.com, ‘Dhurandhar’ saw some growth at the box office on Tuesday, earning an estimated India net of Rs 2.5 crore. This was a slight increase from Monday’s numbers of Rs 2.35 crore. The film that had been raking in double-digit numbers for weeks, earned just around Rs 3.5 crore on its sixth Friday. However, it saw some growth on Saturday and Sunday, earning Rs 5.75 crore and Rs 6.15 crore, respectively. With this, the film’s week 6 total has hit an estimated Rs 20.25 crore at the box office.

‘Dhurandhar’ gross collections

With its impressive run, the film has now shot past the Rs 810 crore nett mark, extending its record as the highest-earning Bollywood film of all time with a collection of Rs 810.5 crore. The film’s gross total collections on the other hand, is estimated at Rs 972.5 crore. With an overseas haul of Rs 290 crore, the film’s total collection now stands at an estimated Rs 1262.5 crore.

‘Dhurandhar’ breaks ‘Stree 2’ record

The film that scored a total collection of Rs 20.25 crore in its 5 days of its week 6 run, has now officially beaten ‘Stree 2’ to claim the title of the highest earning film in its sixth week. ‘Stree’ previously held the record with a collection of Rs 18.6 crore.
