The move sparked backlash online, with a section of social media users unfairly labelling Dhanashree Verma a “gold-digger.”While the cricketer did not directly address the backlash in the interview, his recent comments suggest he is keen to put the entire episode behind him. Clarifying where he stands emotionally today, Chahal said the closure came immediately after the legal process ended.“It was done and dusted right after stepping out of the court,” he asserted.
