Bihar Politics: JDU Suspends 12 Leaders for 6 Years Over Anti-Party Activities

In a significant political development in Bihar, the Janata Dal (United) has suspended 12 of its leaders for six yearsfollowing allegations of anti-party activities. These leaders are accused of working against the NDA during the Bihar elections, prompting the party to take strict disciplinary action. A formal notice has been issued naming all 12 individuals who have been penalized. The decision was made based on the recommendations of a three-member committee formed to investigate the allegations. Party officials emphasized that this move reinforces JDU’s commitment to discipline and unity, sending a strong message that any activity detrimental to the party will not be tolerated. The suspended leaders have not yet responded publicly.
