Aryan follows in SRK’s footsteps, debuts with show just like his dad

Like father, like son: Aryan Khan follows in Shah Rukh Khan’s footsteps, debuts with show just like his father

Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is all set for his debut in showbiz with the show titled ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’. The show will be out in September this year. The preview of the same was dropped yesterday (August 20), and the netizens loved it. With that, it looks like the young star kid is following in the footsteps of his father. You may ask how. Then the answer is even SRK made his debut with a show, ‘Fauji.’

Shah Rukh Khan’s debut show, ‘Fauji’

Shah Rukh Khan marked his debut with the show ‘Fauji,’ directed by Raj Kumar Kapoor. The actor played the role of Lt. Abhimanyu Rai. Khan once shared that his role in the serial was to count the crows. He was not the first choice for the role, and the director’s son was in a race with him. Speaking to the Deccan Chronicle, SRK said, “I landed up on the sets of ‘Fauji’ because the house-owner that we were speaking to after we needed a smaller house post the demise of my father got to know that I’d been in Mumbai to act, and he revealed that his own father-in-law was producing a TV serial.”

Aryan Khan’s debut show, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’

SRK’s son will be making his smashing entry with a show, not as an actor but as a director. Just like how his father went on to become one of the greatest of Indian cinema as an actor, it is possible that even Aryan can turn into a great director. Only time will tell the tale. His first project as a director will showcase his skills and the potential he has. And like the young director humbly said at the preview launch, if he makes some mistakes, then… “Aur agar tab bhi mujhse mistake ho jaaye…toh papa hain na!”The show will be released on Netflix on September 18, 2025.
