In an Instagram video from a sunset beach walk, she vows self-kindness: “Forget to pat yourself on the back sometimes.” She urges perseverance toward light, with Bollywood comeback in Rajamouli’s Varanasi for Sankranthi 2027.

Priyanka Chopra is starting 2026 feeling thankful and thoughtful. The actress is stopping for a bit to praise herself for getting through tough times and coming this far. In her New Year thoughts, she says it’s all about keeping going and staying strong.

On Tuesday, Priyanka shared a video on her Instagram Stories, opening up about her thoughts. In the clip, she’s wearing a two-piece outfit, walking by a beach close to her home, and enjoying the peaceful sunset. “Okay, I told myself I will get better at this, which is talking to the camera… Look at that.. My first few footsteps in 2026… That sounds like the future. I’ve been telling my friends that 2026 sounds like the future,” she said.

The actor continued, “How is that even possible? But here we are. I was just looking back at my family, my beautiful footsteps, and I am just grateful for how lucky I am. Having run for such a long time at such a fast speed you kind of forget to give yourself a little bit of a pat on the back for surviving. So here’s me, giving myself a pat on the back… Being kind to myself and being really grateful for being able to build this life. ”

At the video’s close, Priyanka turns the camera to capture the fading sun. She said, “There’s always light on the other side of the tunnel. You just have to persevere and just keep moving. And I am walking backwards to my house.”

Priyanka Chopra on work front

On the work front, Priyanka is making her way back to Indian films after a long absence, post successes in ‘Mary Kom’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, and ‘Jai Gangaajal’. She is joining SS Rajamouli’s Telugu movie ‘Varanasi’, alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film arrives in theaters for Sankranthi 2027. Go to Source
