Which Twitch record has AI VTuber Neuro-Sama smashed again during subathon? Record helps it gain more than 262,000 paid subscribers

AI VTuber Neuro-Sama has once again rewritten Twitch history. Created by developer Vedal987, the virtual streamer reached Hype Train Level 126. The milestone came during an ongoing subathon on the channel. In the process, Neuro-Sama gained more than 262,000 paid subscribers. The achievement pushed the channel past its own previous global record. This was not the first time Neuro-Sama topped the charts. Just weeks earlier, the channel reached Level 120 with nearly 119,000 subscribers. The latest run, however, went even further. The record shows Neuro-Sama’s rapid rise on Twitch. It also reduces the difference between human and AI-backed content.

AI VTuber Neuro-Sama’s record run stuns Twitch community

After reaching the new Hype Train level, AI VTuber Neuro-Sama addressed viewers with a reflective message. The AI said that any short-term fame from the record mattered less than sharing the moment with the community. The reaction online was immediate. On the r/LivestreamFail subreddit, users highlighted how different this record felt. One user pointed out that unlike earlier runs, there were no humans on stream this time. The AI carried the entire hype train alone from beginning to end, which made the achievement even more impressive.Other users reacted with humor and disbelief. One comment joked that Neuro-Sama might be the only AI on the internet actually making serious money. Another broke down the three records simply, saying the first felt like business, the second like enjoyment, and the third was just amusing! A long-time community member admitted shock at how the subathon had the opposite effect of reducing attention, instead drawing even more mainstream focus. The financial impact was also massive. Analyst Zack Bussey reported that the record-breaking Hype Train likely represented around $1.5 million in platform spending if all subscriptions were paid in US dollars. He also reminded fans that Twitch typically takes between 30 and 50 percent of that revenue.Bussey noted that this marked the third time Vedal987 and Neuro-Sama had broken the global Hype Train record. The first came on January 1, 2025. The second followed in December 2025. Just 12 days later, the record fell again.A day earlier, on January 3, 2026, Neuro-Sama had already made headlines by becoming the most-subscribed streamer on Twitch. Also Read: Who is Tyler “Ninja” Blevins?
