Breaking News: Big Alert in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani Drone Spotted in Poonch, Search Operation Launched

A major security alert has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir after a Pakistani drone was spotted in the Ajote area of Poonch district on New Year’s Day. Following the sighting, security agencies immediately swung into action and launched an extensive search operation across the area. During the operation, a suspicious packet was also recovered near the Line of Control (LoC), raising serious concerns. The entire region has been put on high alert, with Army and security forces intensifying surveillance and cordoning off the area. Officials suspect the drone was used for cross-border surveillance or infiltration attempts, a tactic often employed during winter conditions. Despite recent counter-operations, Pakistan continues such activities along the border. Investigation into the contents of the suspicious packet is currently underway, and security forces remain on high vigil.
