Škoda Auto India marked calendar year 2025 as its strongest-ever performance in the country, closing its 25th anniversary year with sales of 72,665 vehicles, more than doubling volumes from 35,166 units in 2024. The 107 per cent year-on-year growth makes 2025 the brand’s biggest year in India to date.

The strong performance was driven by a broadened product portfolio, network expansion and sustained customer demand across segments. Ashish Gupta, brand director, Škoda Auto India, said the milestone year reflected the company’s widest product line-up and network presence in the country, supported by strong customer trust.

Key growth drivers during the year included the Kylaq, which expanded the brand’s accessibility; continued demand for the Kushaq and Slavia; strong traction for the Kodiaq in the premium SUV segment; and the return of the Octavia RS, which reinforced Škoda’s performance-oriented brand image. The company also crossed the milestone of over 200,000 locally produced cars sold since 2021.

Å koda Auto India expanded its footprint to more than 325 customer touchpoints across 183 cities in 2025, strengthening its market reach. Much of the expansion was undertaken with long-standing dealer partners, alongside the addition of new partners focused on customer-centric operations.

As it enters 2026, Å koda Auto India said it will build on the momentum from its silver jubilee year with new product introductions, deeper market penetration and sharper sales and aftersales initiatives, while continuing to focus on customer-led growth.
